JBCStyle: Manolo Blahnik Style

Manolo Blahnik's new book, aptly titled Manolo's New Shoes is a collection of drawings featuring everything the maestro is obsessed with right now: Africa, architecture, botany, Russia, and urban life.

We dig random obsession style.

If shoes are a religion, then the Bergdorf Shoe Salon is our temple. And Manolo is, well. . . metaphor carried too far we get into trouble style.

The roster of contributors is stilettogasmic (combining two words that make us happy style). International Herald Tribune's editor and head fashion reporter Suzy Menkes, Vogue's creative director Grace Coddington, Oscar-winning costume designer Milena Canonero, Vanity Fair correspondent Amy Fine Collins and El Mundo's Carlos García Calvo all add their individual flair. We die.

Linda came. . .

Andre laughed. . . ah, the silver bells of fashion. . .

. . .while Blahnik signed and signed, resplendent in an amethyst suit, and the only shoes that could possiblly match the color of shoe royalty.

Punk rock pink. Why not style.

Shoe la la style.
