JBCStyle: Juicy Couture Style

When designer darling Erin Fetherston wore floor length velour Juicy Couture to the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Spring 2010 Costume Institute Benefit Gala (hosted by GAP, Conde Nast, Patrick Robinson, Anna Wintour, and Oprah Winfrey as long as we're major name dropping style) we just had to ask one question.

Did the gown say Juicy across the butt?

Just kidding style. . . we love you for real, Pamela and Gela. . .you should wear fur and drink champagne in bed. The Juicy tracksuit is already a fashion icon.

We were dying to know Erin's involvement with the brand, and thank goodness for WWD, the magic 8-Ball of Fashion:

Erin Fetherston, a favorite designer of actresses such as Kirsten Dunst, Zooey Deschanel, Anne Hathaway, Winona Ryder and Cameron Diaz, has been tapped as guest designer and creative consultant at Juicy. . .

Here's a look at Erin from Fashion's Night Out at the Juicy store as she announces her new position:

One look at Juicy Couture's 2011 Collection and there's no sign of a track or a suit. . . or at least we can't see them because we're absolutely dazzled by the 1930s looks Fetherston has infused into the line. Champagne gowns and draped skirts with Erin's signature art deco flair. There's no doubt she's going to do what Jimmy Choo did for Uggs. And then some.

This has always been a fearless, irreverant brand and Juicy girls have always known how to bring all the boys to the yard.

The JBCStyle team already has their jazz hands out for Erin's holiday looks, but for now as we fall into cooler weather we love Juicy for its ripe price points and new, grownup edge.

This is not your mama's boot. . .

Or your daddy's hat. . .

Juicy is all grown up, Corinthians 13:11 style.

Look it up, Google style.
